I am only 16 but I have a voice.

I live in Mobile, Alabama, along the coastline where BP's massive
oil spill will eventually reach if not stopped. I never thought I'd
be an environmentalist until something like this happened in my own
backyard. Let this be a lesson to me, to you, and to the American
people. We must break our addiction. We must stop our insatiable
appetite for oil and other nonrenewable, disgusting energy-
consuming habits such as the consumption of coal etc.

Invest in natural, renewable energy like solar and wind power. Let
us find new ways to be green, be safe, be healthy, and be clean.

Otherwise, only more tragedies like BP's spill will occur. This is
a sign. Act on it. Stop our oil consumption. Stop our addiction.
America needs a wake up call.

You said, "Yes we can" and "Change" would occur with your
presidency. Let's make that "Change" for we surely "Can".
