The Earth, that we belong to, gestates life from every corner, crevice, nook and cranny. There are beings living happily, in the crushing depths, miles below the surface of the ocean and microbes living lives, far longer than ours, miles beneath the Earth's crust. The Earth, that sustains us, is teaming with living creatures and, along with the Sun and Moon, gives us every physical thing we need to live. The archetypical Mother, She is the sacred keeper of life for which all life depends.
Therefore, it has become clear to me that the Earth, that begot us, is a sentient being. She is alive and aware. This is hidden from our perception because She is a slow moving gargantuan like ants crawling on a sleeping elephant. Compare this to the 6 billion microbes, bacteria, virii, parasites, skin mites and assorted creatures living in the human body which is about the same number of humans living on the Earth today.
Most of us can probably agree that, basically, God is THE CREATION, She is part of THE CREATION and we are part of Her. She is our Sacred Mother Earth and eminently deserving of our respectful protective stewardship.
