I started my study of biology seven years ago. I was interested in knowing if global warming is real or not. I have taken biology I and II, microbiology, cell biology, chemistry, geology, earth science, genetics, chemistry II, organic chemistry I and II, plant biotechnology, biotechnology labs I and II, biochemistry I and II, ecology, evolution, population genetics, symbiosis, two chemistry labs, an organic chemistry lab, a biochemistry lab and other classes which I am sure I am forgeting off the top of my head. The point is, I asked every teacher I had if they had any good news about global climate change. Every single science teacher I have ever had has said it is real and it is pretty much the worst case scenario. I enjoy teaching and always lecture at least once a semester about conservation biology. My goal is to seperate the fiction from the facts. It is strange but you say global warming to a red neck and they get deffensive, you say global climate change and they admit they can sense the change themselves. It is funny how lobbyists financial ploys seem to weigh more than scientific fact on citizens thoughts and policy making.
