While in college, I didn’t buy into global warming, as I figured it was trendy and got research funding. I rode my bicycle to school and the store, as it was easier to find a parking spot, but I still didn’t buy into it. After moving to Riverside, the smog capital of Southern California, I noticed that so much crud in our atmosphere had to make a difference, and then in a response I received from Dianne Feinstein, she recommended I read Tim Flannery’s book, The Weather Makers. That was my event horizon. It was objective and very well written.
