Many people are protesting the corporate resistance to a legislative
response to climate change. Others are working directly to restore
habitat, plant carbon sequestering trees and bushes, and install
solar and wind powered electrical generating equipment. Still
0thers are changing their lifestyle to reduce dependence on fossil
fuels. All of these actions are necessary, but not sufficient. We
also need focused political leadership to rally the country.
