Description:This is a Red Pine forest located in the Brule River State Forest in Brule, Wisconsin, a quaint little river town connecting to the famous Lake Superior. It's been used in forestry under sustainable methods since it was planted in 1940. Since then it has been thinned and pruned during the years of 1961, 1976, and 1988.
These woods are my old stomping grounds, I grew up running and climbing in these trees, they've become a part of me. This is why I stive to protect them as well as anywhere else in the world. We need to understand how valuable our trees our and what our world will be like without them. Even a little thing such as blowing our nose is destroying our forests. Use a washable hankerchief or find a company who implements sustainable methods, just do something to help the cause! PROTECT OUR TREES!
