WHAT'S YOUR STORY?

All across the country, people just like you are coming together and building a movement to stop global warming. It's truly inspiring.

We know that each and every person who is part of the movement has a unique story to tell about what brought them here and why they care. And it's these stories that ultimately give the movement its strength.

So, please take a minute to share your story with us. Why are you involved? What inspired you to take action? What keeps you going? Anything you want.

When you're done, upload a photo of yourself to go along with your story and we'll send it to President Obama and post it to our story center. Every story we send to the President will end with the same message:

"When it comes to stopping global warming, we need you to be a leader, not a politician. Show Congress and the world that America is ready to take strong and immediate action to avert a climate catastrophe."

Step 3: UPLOAD A PICTURE TO GO WITH YOUR STORY

Once approved, your picture will be sent to President Obama, along with your story, and will be added to our story center.

Be sure to choose a picture of yourself that goes with your story. This could be anything: a photo of you outdoors, with your children, doing something that you love...just do your best to match your picture with your story. And if you can't find a picture that works, don't worry. Simply use a good picture of yourself.

Putting a face with the your story will make your message all the more powerful when we send it on to the President.
