Greenpeace

Hi! I'm Amber-Elena. I've recently joined greenpeace USA and have recently taken and interest in environmental issues. I've been Vegetarian for 3yrs and Vegan for 1 yr. I first heard about going green on my favorite soap opera Days of our Lives not to long ago. A character couple on that show had a green wedding and they were giving out green tips on the show and at either the Days or nbc website. I'm just one of those people trying to make a difference in the world. I want to take action and help save the whales, our oceans, rainforests, stop global warming etc. I really want to start recycling, but need to get a job and earn the money for recylcing bins for my home first. Does Wal-Mart sell recycling bins or recycling trashcans for an affordable price? Or do any other stores sell them at an affordable price. I live in Houston, Texas. If any of you have any questions about vegetarianism or veganism, just ask. I don't really know much about the environment. Feel free to educate me.
