Kleercut Kimberly-Clark Protest
Since Kimberly-Clark is still not using recycled products and is willing to still sacrifice our ancient Boreal forests , our friends at Greenpeace and Kleercut have staged more protests at the Kimberly-Clark offices. We all need to keep up our support by NOT buying any Kimberly-Clark paper products.
The Greenpeace ' Movers ' protest pictures and story are on:

Saving the Great Lakes
Hello Again,
After spending 2 weeks on the western most part of Ontario on Lake Huron I have been reminded how important the Great Lakes are as a resource to to us all. I will be researching how we can better preserve the Great Lakes for future generations and posting my findings and some images from Lake Huron over the next month or so. It is shocking to see how much plastic has washed up on the shore since the ice melted last month. Let's everybody see if picking up just a few peices of plastic and recyclying it is some way we all can help out with. Every little bit helps.
For now please visit:

for a better understanding of our Great Lakes and our responsibilites.

Let's preserve and conserve this beauty and resource for generations to come:

My 2nd Letter to CEO's of SFK Pulp

- Subject
- Stop the destructive and unsustainable logging of Canada's Boreal Forest
Dear Mr. Bernier,
I am writing to express my support for Greenpeace's action today and my concern regarding your company's purchases of wood chips from Abitibi-Consolidated and Bowater. Their logging practices in Canada's Boreal Forest are destructive and unsustainable.
I urge SFK Pulp to adopt an environmental policy that supports sustainable forestry as certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and limits logging in intact forest areas and caribou habitat. I hope that you will use your financial influence as a large customer of Abitibi-Consolidated and Bowater, to force them to end their destructive logging operations in the Boreal Forest.
Reckless logging practices such as massive clear-cutting are destroying the Boreal Forest last remaining intact forest areas. Considering that only 25% of the world's original forests remain, these practices are unacceptable.
SFK Pulp should consider its role in forest protection as a serious part of your regular business. Take the first step, and demand that Abitibi-Consolidated and Bowater end destructive logging.
Sincerely,
John P.
