War

I find it really annoying when people are against war, just because it's war. I'm not saying that war is right, but last time I checked it was only the truly free, and partly socialistic countries like the United States, United Kingdom, France, and other pro-capitalistic countries that will even consider environmentally friendly legislation. I mean how many times have you herd radically totalitarian, pro-communist, or radical Islamic countries going green? So I say that we must have people in our armed forces fighting those other countries that wish to degrade our rights as human beings by kicking alittle a** every now and then.

People keep saying buy organic cotton, and all that other crap. Well what I do is I go to goodwill, and other second hand stores and buy perfectly good used clothing, because reusing products that we already have is going to have a greater impact on the environment than buying newly manufactured clothing, while the perfectly good clothing just rots on the shelves, or landfill, or what ever. I mean if we can buy reused clothing as much as possible than we can cut down on the amount of factories built, thus lessing not only the electrical demand but also the environmental one.

In my last post I may have sounded alittle too anti-green, but I will say now to you all that I as much as you want a better place to live for all people. The only way that history has shown us to actually get anything done is through compromise, and ten eventually get what we want from that compromise. The fact remains is that this is America, and under the capitalistic ideology that most Americans share it is against logic to try and hold back the pursuit of wealth. So by me saying that I wish nuclear weapons to be disbanded, and use those same resources to create energy. That would not only take away nuclear bombs, but also give us an alternative to petrol when it comes to energy. I do realize there are wastes from the nuclear facilities, but there are now safe methods that are being implemented throughout the European Union in countries like France that derive about 75% of their energy from nuclear reactor facilities. Also the fact that a meltdown can occur is known, and fully recognized, but everyday you drive, walk, and live above gas, and water lines that at any moment could blow. Millions live every day with a water tank in their house, and the incidents that I have herd of have pretty much made people homeless from explosions. So just because there are risks involved in this proposition. I rather have nuclear reactor power plants helping us rid ourselves from the dependence of foreign oil, and get nukes out of the hands of those that can blow us all into oblivion.
Nuclear Weapons, and Energy

I know for most of you, you would like there to not be anymore armed nuclear bombs in anyone's hands. Knowing that, and also the fact that there isn't a chance in hell for anyone to take away anyone's power by simply asking for it. Would it not be a better idea, and more progressive to ask the military leaders, and the corporate energy leaders of the world to disarm their nukes by converting the plutonium, and uranium into nuclear power plants, because let's be honest with ourselves the only time that anyone of the people in power are going to give up the gun is for the gold. So why not give them the incentive by asking them to do something else productive with the nukes, then just storing them away. Because you, and I know that the only place they'll store them is in a flippin' missile silo, aimed at our political opponents around the world.(i.e. Iran, and Russia just to name two)
