Student at Suffolk University
I was hired to GREENPEACE, Boston, on July 3rd 2008.
I've recently returned to Boston and I'm excited to begin working with GREENPEACE and getting involved with their agenda. I've always admired GREENPEACE from a distance and I'm happy to be working for special interest group with so much integrity and passion.
Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance to you, or if you have any questions.
Peace,

GREENPEACE
Update 7-12-08
I lasted 3 days with Greenpeace, Boston. I spent 3 solid days on the streets of Boston, canvassing for Greenpeace, but it was useless. I'm no salesman. I'm a humanitarian/political/environmental activist. I have been involved with Greenpeace since 1996 (my sophomore year of highschool).
By no means am I going to stop working for Greenpeace, Boston, I'll just be getting paid, my usual non-profit salary... zero dollars and zero cents. Working to balance the planet isn't about a dollar figure, its about paying your debt to mothernature. In the words of Greenpeace, South East Asia "environmental activism is my rent for living on this planet."

Areas of Major Interest
1.) The Cape Wind Project www.capewind.org
2.) George W. Bush lifting the Executive ban (THAT HIS FATHER CREATED, in 1990) on drilling for 'off-shore' oil on the outer continental shelf. Congress PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't lift the Congressional Ban implemented in 1982. Come on America, we're smarter then George W. Bush... right?

ANWR; Write to YOUR SENATOR!!!!!!!!
As we know the Executive ban for drilling oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge was lifted on June 17th 2008 by President George W. Bush. But, the Congressional ban, set in 1982 is what is keeping George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and their "oil buddies" out of ANWR. Although, they are trying HARD to get it 'lifted' as well!!
As environmental activists it is our JOB to continue to keep them out of ANWR and everybody has to help. Young/Old; Rich/Poor; Yale/Harvard; Americans/people from free countries, etc.
Here is a letter you can send to your Senator. Its good to send it to your Representatives too, but start with your Senators. They will SOON be voting on this issue!

Dear Senator (*your local Senator's name*),
My name is (*your name*) and I’m writing to you today on behalf of the Natural Wildlife of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
As you know, George W. Bush ‘lifted’ the Executive ban on drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, on June 17th 2008. I’m asking you to vote against the ‘lifting’ of the Congressional ban, set in 1982.
The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is inhabited by 45 species of land and marine mammals. The eight million acres of the Arctic Refuge were designated for these animals to thrive. “Here (ANWR), one can traverse the boreal forest of the Porcupine River plateau, wander north up the rolling tiaga uplands, cross the rugged, glacier-capped Brooks Range, and follow any number of rivers across the tundra coastal plain to the lagoons, estuaries, and barrier islands of the Beaufort Seas coast, all without encountering an artifact of civilization.”

What happened in California is that man’s over-consumption of the forests and aggressive off-shore oil drilling did two, of many, things. It made the Grizzly Bear extinct in California’s wildlife (ironically on California’s flag); and it polluted the waters of such beaches as Huntington Beach, Long Beach and Seal Beach with oil and trash. I’m writing to you today to prevent that from happening in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
As Americans we need to focus on our consumption and not take aggressive actions against some of the most beautiful places on Earth.
I appreciate you taking the time to listen to my perspective and I hope that you protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for future generations. The American economy is not doing great right now, but I know we can come up with some different and unique ways of fixing it that do not involve drilling for oil in wildlife refuges.
Once again, thank you for your time and have a great day.
Sincerely,
(*your signature*)
Concerned Environmental Activist

Help the Green Revolution. Join the Green Party today. Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente are running for President and Vice of the United States of America (2008). Please show your support by visiting www.runcynthiarun.com and www.gp.org. Stop the Bush Agenda. McCain wants to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Obama wants to tap the Strategic Oil Reserve and sell it to other nations. Either one will carry on the Bush Agenda for another four years. Vote McKinney and "Keep the Oil in the Soil."
