Wow. 2009 is here. I didn't expect that we would be thrusted into a new year so quickly, but here we are: 2008 has been shoved out the window and 2009 is the new page in our book.
When a new year comes and an old one goes, I always love to focus and remember what positive things 2008 brought us.
2008 brought...
-more hybrid automobiles on the market
-more awareness of global warming
-a lot more organic clothing+food
But, 2008 did not have many vegetarians or people protesting against animals cruelty. I only hope that 2009 brings more of these things.
I'd like to know, what do fellow Greenpeace bloggers wish that the new year brings that 2008 did not?

Hi, hello, hola, my name is Kate and I joined Greenpeace in June of '07! I love it here and it's so great chatting with people that are just like me- want to make a difference. When I get older, I'm hoping to be a marine biologist or I'd like to write for a magazine that is ALL for the environment!
