Hello
Hi Folks, I’m artist Veronica Rivera Evespassage Artist Portfolio I am representing a group of teaching artist that have begun a summer and after school holistic art program for children in the Little Haiti district of Miami. This summer I plan to direct a collaborative mural at the art studio, which will encourage children of all ages to become conscious to our environment and take part in researching issues and submitting artwork that will be juried then incorporated the in to the mural. The project has had its set backs when it got broken in to a few months ago and art supplies, furniture and all the computers where stole out of the studio space. In order to keep the doors open on the mural we need to keep the doors open at the school. The ‘Love, Color, Light’ programs offer students a creative approach to learning by aligning the arts with required curriculum standards that help students achieve in their regular class studies. It is ran by program director Chaira Marin she is wonderful with the kids and want nothing more then to keep the school open so that they will learn art and take this experience with them through their lives. We are looking for people to support us on our efforts and give to the program. If you desire to see children excel and reach great heights through art integration and want to sponsor us please get in touch with us. You can email Rachel Huges at ArtStudioMiami@gmail.com or me Veronica at eves_passage@yahoo.com To get an emailed copy of our budget and learn how to get involved. We have tons to offer our sponsors and would love to talk to you if you are interested in being a sponsor to the love color light program or the mural project. Thank you, Veronica Rivera

Hi Green friends, I was sitting here thinking about recycled arts I was wondering if there are any people out there that feel this could be another way we could get our society to start becoming better recyclers? I want to find people that are creative and share an interest in the environment. Lets make art matter and create large recycled art displays to encourage people to start looking towards their creativity to help the planet. Not to fight against corporation that produce these products but to work with them and create a way that gets funds back to our landfills. Anything is possible right? I really want to talk to other environmentalist and artist that feel this way as well. I know I’m not alone lets come up with a way that we could make art matter…. Peace and love people! I am aware that here on this planet waste and trash build up are huge factors in the polluting of earth so I take things that will be thrown away and I make paintings. How art saved the world something that came to me in meditation. I sometimes think that environmental art is a tool to use our creativity to clean the earth and through evespassage I want to further expose other the world of recycled/environmental art.
