oil disaster - will washington wake up - offshore oil , why

how many disasters, does it take before washington to open its eyes. the gulf of mexico should be a reminder to the whole of america - dirty fuel when it goes wrong the result, is unamaginable. distroying industries that have been there for centuries is just wrong. the fishing industry- the oysters, the shrimp-endless fish species endangered. the travel industry- who wants to go to a tar beach. bp is saying there doing a good job in containing the spiil- tell that to the culture of the gulf, the cajans, the floridians, the texans, you swim in a oil lake.this energy has now donemore harm than good. washington needs to open its eyes- rethink energy- stop poisoning our waters, our land and draining our pockets so some foriegn powers kids can go to a better college than us. strike one-standard oil seepageof oil into the gowanas canal is an environmental disaster that the people of brooklyn on the east coasyt has had to deal with for the last 100 years. strike two - the exxon valdez l spill in alaska distroyed the fishing industry there and still haven't cleaned up. strike three- bp disaster in the gulf of mexico is now the biggest oil disaster in the united states.there are sources in this country that could replace oil gas and coal, but we need a government with B$%#S that will take the lead and like germany says we are going to do everything in our power to make a cleanenergy country and not just talk about it.otec  not opec could use the resources of the oceans cold and warm weather to create energy. the united states has water on three sides of it with more power to create energy with turbines, the tides, and the waves, all clean and abundant. we have  sun that strikes the earth and plenty of ways to harness if washington would give its citizens and companies the same rebates that they give the oil ,gas and coal companies. there is so much wind and with smart grids and super and ultra capasitors or built into high wire towers and on tops of buildingscould also provide endless nonpolluting energy. algae to clean urine and clean wastes and create bio oil is hear today. food waste that fills the landfills with bateria could be turned into cellulose ethanol. just recycling everything we throw out by retrofiting every waste treatment plants to mechanically sort its garbage, seperating everything that can be recycled .we are the caretakers of this earth. yet suposely we seem to be able to distroy. washington needs to take the lead in changing the future, because this is the administration that promised change and now its time to honor that promise and give us change.we need the big green push to provide us with jobs and give the next generation a future that doesn't entale polluting our waters and land from the effects of coal oil and gas.

why does the human race need to fight over the resource of water. yes water ,fresh water is needed to survive. however, the planet is surrounded by water 7o percent of it. yes it is salt water, but it is water and it just needs to be desalinated to make it fresh water. they're are plenty of ways to desalinate it, and alternative power can help. stop thinking of how to kill your neighbor for his water, but how to take a huge resource like seawater and with alternative energy turn it into life saving fresh water. Africa surrounded by ocean but fighting over water. Saudi Arabia, surrounded by water, huge desert. Australia surrounded by water, huge desert, china - desert increasing, how much of the country is by the sea. California usa, they get there water from the east, yet it has vast amounts of water to the west. desalinate water or fight, kill your neighbor. why, the desalination of sea water and the use of ocean thermal energy conversion or any other alternative energy that can help with energy independence and supply any continent with endless supplies of fresh water. so try to recycle, reuse, conserve energy, use environmental sources and ingenuity to clean up a mess left to us, unbeknown to the people who left it to us. to do something to make this world more balanced is not the easiest, but it can be done.

RECYCLE, RE-USE, CONSERVE OUR NATURAL RESOURCES WITH BETTER WASTE MANAGEMENT

The American waste habits is polluting our domestic world and that of the rest of the world. What we throw out is poisoning our waters , our air and that of land , better used for housing or future forests. Examples , PAPER WASTE- toilet paper, newspapers, towel paper, printing paper, etc, how much of this lands in garbage dumps, if recycled, the amount of forestry could be eliminated greatly. The more forests, the more of earths filters, doing what they do best. if recycled, paper waste could be returned as toilet paper, newspapers, towel paper, printing paper, etc. if recycled, paper waste will not exist. PLASTIC WASTE - plastic bottles, food canisters, detergent containers, garbage containers, computers, TVs, etc if recycled, many of third world nations , we dump our electronic gear and the chemicals in those items, will not get to pollute there grounds and water ways. if recycled, our plastic bags will not land in our landfill, but recycled back to us. if recycled, plastic waste will not exist. FOOD WASTE - banana peels, meats, vegetable wastes, uneaten products, dairy, wheat’s etc. most of this breaks down , and goes into the earth. What about the pesticides in it, does that go into the earth too. What about the fact that this could be turned into fuel, using bacteria from the most hostile ends of the earth such as in volcanoes or from the great depths of the oceans. Cellulose ethanol, food waste into fuel. if recycled, food waste will not exist. METAL WASTE - every bit of this can be recycled, not just the copper, aluminum, iron, but everything, yet there are still garbage dumps with metal parts still in it. if recycled, metal waste will not exist. HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS - this is a deadly one, how do you dispose of this, most people want to do the right thing , but if its not convenient for them, lets face it , most won’t do it. The best thing is convince your household cleaner producer to make greener products that are biodegradable, then you won’t have to worry about this danger.

BUILDING MATERIAL WASTE - sheetrock, this can be recrushed, and turned back into recycled sheetrock. Wood waste, can be turned into recycled paper or recycled wood, tiles can be recrushed, and turned back into recycled tile, etc., etc., etc. if recycled, building material waste will not exist. Garbage doesn’t need to exist, I know there are real good recycling programs. NYC Sanitation garbage sorting machines do an excellent job in separating metals, plastics , paper, etc., but still a small fraction of all the material thrown out is recycled, when in fact it all can be recycled, landfills could be eliminated, resources could be saved by reusing , not wasting, conservation, and better waste management and technical innovation could save our waterways, beautify our surroundings and also help in the fight against global warming ( p.s. there is still a large garbage dump floating in the pacific ocean, maybe if we were better recyclers, this would not exist, but it does. We need to clean this up.)
