Sadness...

Crumbling, just crumbling...

Why must the world be like this? That to live, we must cut down trees? Why must we survive solely on one huge forest, only to one day, our hearts shed tears of joy because we created a new town with that forest. "We plant new ones," everybody seems to say, but yet do they know how long it takes for a tree to grow? When somebody cuts a tree down, they are cutting something that is living. It is a never ending battle that has been going on for years and years. Madness, lust, power, greed. All tie in. Even anger. People hurt things when they are angry and sad. That must be why the trees are an ever growing small population. The population that we have grown to love is now crumbling at our bulldozers.

Laziness will lead to our destruction

Laziness...a road to destruction?

As I was walking through the supermarket today, I noticed many things. That the fruits in that store were dying and that even though we say getting fruits at the grocery market is quicker, being green people, we should go to a local farmers market or maybe just even grow them ourselves. Fruits and vegetables alike. The next thing I noticed is that nobody is this world even makes their own meals. The provider makes them for us. Hot dogs, were once so good, but now they come in a box, so that we just microwave them for that Ball Game taste. Sandwiches, that we once enjoyed on a picnic to the seaside or maybe even just for fun, we can't even make them ourselves anymore. No. No longer do we buy meat, veggies, or mustard to put on the sandwiches, no. We just buy them in a box and microwave them, so we can taste the memories that have slipped through our grip and our spiraling in the past. We are lazy. Americans are lazy. Some may say that we are hard working, but we aren't. We always are walking with a stick up our butt and sometimes with our microwavable sandwich. What have we become when we can't even sit down with our family and eat a nice home cooked meal??? I know some families can't sit down with each other, but that does not mean either that we can text our brother who is sitting next to us to pass the microwavable potatoes. Not talking to each other, just texting one another. What have we become? We are just a shell of mankind. Mankind is not destined to be lead through a never ending war and then sit down with our cell phones and text each other for another sandwich. I hope the microwaves blow up. Maybe then we can eat some meals together.

Anger...around us

Anger...around us...sheltering

We are all propelled forward by our ability to love, but also to hate. We are all controlled by our heart, which is secretly disguised as an angel, but also a demon. We are always feeling more emotions, but nowadays, people always seem to feel hate. I am not trying to push beliefs on anyone, just trying to inform you. Anger start wars. Anger start arguments. Anger probably started this world. We think we know everything, but seriously, we do not. We believe that we know everything that is happening in the world, but we don't. Do we know what is happening in Africa? Yes, we know they have AIDS and that they are suffering. We know that Oprah went their and adopted children. We know that everyone is raising money to send over there. But...do you know what they are feeling? No. You have no idea unless you live there and are an African American with AIDS. It would be horrible to watch your family die. Anger is also causing more people to build houses or building and in return, knock down and kill more trees. Anger, or lust for money is doing this. Anger is in divorce, anger is in racism, anger is even in the presidential election right now, for crying out loud. No where is there no anger. Anger is all around us. Enveloping us in its fury, bidding us to do its dirty work. But we need to stretch and bond together and love. For if we love, we can maybe, and hopefully, save the world.

Untitled, but still important

War, fashion, and greed. Greed and lust for money. Just money. No longer do some people care for people's hope. No longer do people wish to help others. No, they just wish to make due with their money and run. Trees are no longer needed because the cutting of these innocent creatures make business men their money. Innocent people die from wars that no longer are needed, yet we continue to fight them to gain power. Just power. Just money. Is this all the world revolves around? No longer does the Earth, the sweet planet that keeps us alive, revolve around the Sun. No, no, no. Earth revolves around ourselves. Or if you face it head on, the Earth revolves around money. The money is the glue that is holding this world together. Could you imagine if this world no longer had money? It would crumble. Economies, stocks, and hopes would fall. Not just that, but families, orphanages, and more. Nothing would make sense. We would all be thrust into the Middle Ages again. For not just the second time, but for the umpteenth time. Nothing would be as it seems. But I believe that nothing has been as it seems for a very long time.

Now, nobody cares...

Nobody cares...tis only fashion...

Right now...nobody is taking global warming seriously. We only take in consideration our own needs. Such as fashion, makeup, or other things that seriously do not need to be bought. Instead, we need to fight to save our world and our people. Even our animals. Nobody can even wear a "Save the Earth" shirt because they are just milling in with the popular people and their fashion. Our economy is getting money just by printing "Save the Earth" on shirts, bags, and things people wear. And do you think those people actually want to save the Earth? Some might, but others are just in it for the fashion. How sickening. Fashion is what people want I suppose, not to help a cause.

Why, o, why???

Must it be like this...

Must it be

That we kill, to earn power

And courage and strength?

Must it be

That we sneer

Down into dirty faces of the world

To not only not help them

But to laugh and kick dirt

Into their faces.

Must it be

That we only want

Power, but no peace?

Yes, for this is what

Our government

And above has planned.

A twist of fate, the world combined...

Whenever we are discussing things about the world, the conversation always seems to lead into money or ourselves. We always seem to judge each other on how we dress or what we say, but most of us, determine our personality by merely peering into our pocketbooks. Some of the poorest people could actually be our friend. And if everyone of the turned up riches would merely look down and see us, maybe we could get somewhere.

This is not just an issue, this is an important issue. We cannot work together as multiple pieces. We must become a whole. We need to look into our hearts, the ones that are so eagerly looking for money, and no longer hold any sympathy for heart or the environment. We need to change our hearts. We need to love each other, no matter who they are. Whether they be black, white, Mexican, or hippie, we need to love each other. Now, or who knows what will happen to us.

Dearest Trees...

Dearest my Darling Trees,

To all the trees

Out and about the world

We hear you crash

We hear you cry

We hear all of you die

To suffice our needs

To build our world

But we have yet to learn

That we need you in order

To survive

Although there are plenty of you

Throughout the world

Everyday you become smaller

Till one day

There will be no more

No one seems to understand

The consequence of their actions

For one day when they try to breathe

No air will fill their lungs

And they will collapse

With an image burned in their skull

Of them cutting down the one source

That was saving us from devastation!!!

This is dedicated to everybody

Unlike us, what is the world doing???

Today I was recently informed that a radio station is going to be emitting the song, "Across the Universe," sung by the Beetles into outer space to some star that is trillions of light years away. Is this what we would really like to do? Do we not have anything better to do? Why don't we try to help the environment or maybe start a fund raiser for sickly children in Africa? No, instead we sit around on our ever expanding butts and tell ourselves that America is the best, most powerful place on Earth. But listen to this. We are slowly collapsing. No, we can no longer pretend. Our government is what we say is the best, but technically, the president just butters the people up, so they will vote for them. Do you think half the presidents say what they mean? No, they just want to get elected so they can do what they want? What about the war in Iraq? I have news for some of you out there. War is not healthy, nor is it good for our citizens. Many of our people are being sent to just die. I know that some may argue that it is best, but I just do not like war. I am just sorry; it, things that are happening in the world, are becoming to distressing. No home cooked meals, new buildings popping up over the world, no more green land. And now, it is said, that the arctic is melting. Yep, from all the pollution that we are emitting. People are saying how trucks are better to haul and stuff, but that is emitting even more pollution. All we are about is how much money we have or how much stuff we can buy. That is not the big deal. The big deal is how we are to survive. If the oceans continue to raise, people will die. And guess what??? It will be our fault. All our fault. This is just so distressing. It is just that when you think about it, it is like we are infants in a huge house with no one to take care of us. We are trying to raise ourselves, but we are learning things that are not right, and there is no one there to tell us no. Global warming, elections, whether to fight war or not. We are teenagers just confused. We can no longer think for ourselves. We have the internet think for us. Instead of raising food ourselves, we trade, and use all the land for buildings or homes that will be destroyed or demolished to make something else. We need to start thinking about the consequences of our actions. We need the Mother Nature to teach us. It all started when the pilgrims came and took out the Indians. They were good, but we took over their land, killed them, and this is what started the building revolution. I am so sorry that this blog is filled with hate, but it is needed to teach us that whatever we say, we are not perfect. No one is. If you ask me, we are getting farther and farther away from that mark of perfect.

What is wrong with us?

What is wrong with us?

Look outside. This is what was created for us to live, breathe, and sooner or later, perish. But we are all working together with the Earth. Or we were... It seems that nobody is synchronized with the Earth anymore. We used to grow our own food. Now, we have people across the world, without jobs doing that, while we take the land of the farmers and make it into some mall or a shopping center or perhaps even a new house for them. We can't even make our own meal, for Heavan's sake. We either have to go to a restaurant, make a meal in a box, or order a to go meal. Nobody has any time anymore. Nobody, nobody, nobody. And look at the Presidents election. Nobody gives a crap because this stupid election is all about gender or race. Is it going to be Obama or Clinton? Personally, I would not pick either, but that is not the point. Look at how our world is collapsing beneath us. We don't do anything. We are in a war, that is pointless, and our world is being run by someone that hardly anyone likes anymore. Lots of people are dying and it is just wrong. Soon, when we look outside, instead of seeing children playing, trees, or other establishments, we will just see rubble, ash, and a road that leads down to our destruction. The destruction that we ourselves caused.

About Me

Student at ...

Dear my fellow treehuggers, I am just a person, but within me, is a heart that is a tree. Whoever looks, may not like the way I am, but the roots are long, and someway, you might learn to love me. I wish to protect all that needs protecting. I will hug trees and I do not like builders. They are building in my community and they are destroying the trees that I love. But nobody seems to care. It is ugly. They are horrible. Americans just don't seem to care about nature. All they seem to care about it how attractive they look or how much money they have or what job they will take next. It is sickening. And I hate it. I hate it very much.
