Laziness will lead to our destruction

Laziness...a road to destruction?

As I was walking through the supermarket today, I noticed many things. That the fruits in that store were dying and that even though we say getting fruits at the grocery market is quicker, being green people, we should go to a local farmers market or maybe just even grow them ourselves. Fruits and vegetables alike. The next thing I noticed is that nobody is this world even makes their own meals. The provider makes them for us. Hot dogs, were once so good, but now they come in a box, so that we just microwave them for that Ball Game taste. Sandwiches, that we once enjoyed on a picnic to the seaside or maybe even just for fun, we can't even make them ourselves anymore. No. No longer do we buy meat, veggies, or mustard to put on the sandwiches, no. We just buy them in a box and microwave them, so we can taste the memories that have slipped through our grip and our spiraling in the past. We are lazy. Americans are lazy. Some may say that we are hard working, but we aren't. We always are walking with a stick up our butt and sometimes with our microwavable sandwich. What have we become when we can't even sit down with our family and eat a nice home cooked meal??? I know some families can't sit down with each other, but that does not mean either that we can text our brother who is sitting next to us to pass the microwavable potatoes. Not talking to each other, just texting one another. What have we become? We are just a shell of mankind. Mankind is not destined to be lead through a never ending war and then sit down with our cell phones and text each other for another sandwich. I hope the microwaves blow up. Maybe then we can eat some meals together.

Dear my fellow treehuggers, I am just a person, but within me, is a heart that is a tree. Whoever looks, may not like the way I am, but the roots are long, and someway, you might learn to love me. I wish to protect all that needs protecting. I will hug trees and I do not like builders. They are building in my community and they are destroying the trees that I love. But nobody seems to care. It is ugly. They are horrible. Americans just don't seem to care about nature. All they seem to care about it how attractive they look or how much money they have or what job they will take next. It is sickening. And I hate it. I hate it very much.
