Stupidity...
While watching commercials tonight, I happened upon one for a new phone. People used to be able to go without having a phone. Then, people could live with calling. Texting came next, a camera, the internet, apps...what next? Things were so simple, and now everyone has a small computer in their pocket, breeding lies and simplicity and stupidity. The commercial I saw today advertised an application on your phone that will let you keep track of your car in case you cannot find it. If you lose your car, press a button and it shall locate it for you. I am not sure about you, but I think this is a stupid idea. I mean, when someone cannot find their car, why should they even be driving it? They could be drunk. So, these drunk people are going to be pressing their phones, locating their cars and then causing harm to innocent people. Why should this applicating even be invented? Why don't we just track people, as well, because you know what, they could be across the street from you, but you wouldn't be able to look up from your texting or game or whatever it is you do, and you would miss them! Put a tracker on your friend, and your small little computer-phone shall guide you to their house because you probably don't even know where that is! Stupidity is rising, people! We can't even have sit-down dinners anymore because half the family is watching tv, while the other half is texting. We lose relationships because our significant other loves their technology more than you. In a way, we are living in one huge video game. We all have one life, and we don't want to screw it up, but we just keep buying into the idea of having more and more stuff, which means that we need to have the technology that is amazing and high-tech, eating away our brains and creativity and ideas! We have lost all connection with people. We do not even know how to communicate with each other anymore. Instead of greeting people, we text or email them. I know what I am writing may seem contradictory, since I am writing a blog on the internet, but I could write the same thing and publish it in a newspaper. No fancy gadgets needed there. People just don't understand each other anymore. I wish things were simple, and by simple, I don't mean that a computer can do it. I wish that people used their brains for once instead of relying on technology. We can't even get around our own town without the use of a GPS. We need to have a car or we are considered uncool. We need to have a cellphone with internet and whatever to make ourselves look hotter. We need to have a wonderfully thin image. If you ask me, things are becoming stupid, and people along with it!

Dear my fellow treehuggers, I am just a person, but within me, is a heart that is a tree. Whoever looks, may not like the way I am, but the roots are long, and someway, you might learn to love me. I wish to protect all that needs protecting. I will hug trees and I do not like builders. They are building in my community and they are destroying the trees that I love. But nobody seems to care. It is ugly. They are horrible. Americans just don't seem to care about nature. All they seem to care about it how attractive they look or how much money they have or what job they will take next. It is sickening. And I hate it. I hate it very much.
