Plastic Garbage

| More
All the plastic ever made is still some where on the face of the Earth, and it is destroying entire ecosystems in the oceans.  Can you imagine rolling with the one you love on tropical plastic sands?  I can't. So try and buy things that don't come wrapped in plastic, and recycle all your plastic waste.  Do what I do, load up and take it directly to the nearest recycling center, don't trust the garbage man.  His consciousness may not have been raised enough yet, but if you can raise his consciousness, then by all means do so.  We are at war, we are our own worst enemies, and if we lose this fight, the planet will survive...with or without us.  Without us, unless we wise up real fast!

Here at Fort Benning, where as a reservist I am on my 2 weeks of annual training (for the last time, thank God!), they have plenty of the endagered Red CockadeWoodpeckers out in the woods.  My question is, where have all the Red Headed Woodpeckers up North gone to? ai haven't seen any this year in my woods in Illinois.  Maybe they, too belong on the Endangered Species list.
