A new research shows that high stress levels may delay women's pregnancy, according to BBC News on Thursday.
Researchers in Oxford University tested stress hormones in 274 healthy women who have been naturally pregnant. The results showed that the more the stressed, the less the pregnancy.
One of the leading experts, Dr. Cecelia Pyper, said the study was aimed to understand the factors that may influence natural pregnancy.
She said that it was the first study to find that a biological measure of stress is associated with a woman's chances of becoming pregnant that month.
The result also indicated that relaxation may help some couples. However, the researchers said that more studies are needed.
