I have been an ardent supporter of saving our forests and protecting our wildlife. Two years ago I moved to Oregon and became painfully aware that in many of the past actions that had occurred in the effort to save wildlife has left Oregon with a major unemployment problems which leads to serious social problems. Oregon's economy has been slammed hard. It has been over a decade since the lumber mills had to close. While certain areas are thriving considering today's national economic situations,there are large sections that still suffer from laws passed to save several species.

I would like to ask all people involved in this wonderful endeavor to save our wildlife and forests, to try to find a resolution which includes the welfare of the residents in that area.
