Enviroment Advice
Recycling (after use, containers can be taken to recycling centers)
Reuse (some things considered trash can be used for deco/storage)
Replace (products can be changed to eco-friendly products)
Reduce ( some products can be used sparingly or not at all)
Newspapers that have been buried in landfills can still be read 20 years later. In fact, less than half of easily decomposed materials such as lawn, garden and food wasted is decomposed after 20 years too. These items if exposed to open air and sunlight not buried in a landfill would take a long time to decompose:
Banana 3-4 weeks
Paper Bag 1 month
Wood 10-15 years
Tin Can 80-100 years
Aluminum Can 200-500 years
Plastic Jug 1 milion years
Glass Bottle unknown
Styrofoam forever
This is why recyling is so important for the enviroment and Earth.
