the goverment is wanting to start drilling on our coastlines! not only are we going to have to see huge oil towers on our beautifull coastline it is going to destroy the ocean life. My hometown is Mendocino which is one of the most amazing coast towns and this really makes me sad that the goverment is stooping to this level! Let me know if any of you plan to protest in the northern california area and i will be there. : )

hey there! this is actually my first blog and i'm not going to lie i am pretty excited. Lol i just had to voice to everyone what happened to me a couple weeks ago. so my boyfriend and i were over at his dads house just visiting and we got started in on the chunk of ice that had recently broke off of the western Antarctic peninsula and to make a long story short his dad who will remain nameless Lol literally said "there is no such thing as global warming. its all just propaganda!" i'm sorry but i couldn't believe it. honestly thats when it really hit me hard! to get into the whole green thing and i am becoming really involved and excited about this movement and cause and it is so important! i always knew about it but didn't have the motivation till recently to become involved. and to say there is no such thing as global warming is so insane for me to here. i'm sorry but we all need to get involved and it has really been hitting me hard since my boyfriend's dad made that comment because i am getting really scared of whats going on in the world. i have truly realized its not too late to start making a difference and after how hot it got last summer this is no propaganda. : )
