Okay. So this is my first blog.

Hmmm...what to write.

I guess I could tell you a little about myself.

Im 17 years old and I live about 15 miles south of the worlds most famous beach (daytona beach fl).

I love living beachside. I love the ocean more then anything.

Im at the beach all the time..i try to surf but im still learning :]

There are a lot of issues im concerned about involving the ocean and marine life.

The basics like pollution, illegal dumping, overfishing, and what not. My real passion is whales. In my opinion they are the most amazing magestic creatures and they are slaughtered for no reason. Ive yet to see a live whale outside of captivity. Thats like my dream to see whales in their natural environment. There is no doubt in my mind it will happen.

I graduate from High School in Fall of 2008 and I plan on going into biological oceanography im not sure exactly what I want to do but its a very broad field to go into.

Well thats about it I guess.
