Jane Goodall, and why she perpetuates my days.

| More
mmmurphy We have the choice to use the git of our lives to make this world a better place. Jane Goodall. All my life, I have wanted to be her. To this day, there is no turn my life could take that I would appreciate more then having the opportunity to impact this world as she has. There is no person I would rather have the opportunity to be then one such as she that cares so much for our world, and the betterment of this planet we are lucky enough to inhabit. Jane Goodall understands the true inner-workings of every creature in this world, and as a human who has such a life-long investment in a topic such as apes, that isn't even necessarily something tied to her, is the reason that apes are understood and revered as they are today. The struggling people of India wouldn't know what quality of life there could be without the aid of Mother Theresa, and she wasn't even Indian. What I wish each of us could do, is take in interest in our world. Our home. We benefit and suffer from every last instance that effects Earth, and yet there are others in this world that are doing more for people they had never been connected to, then WE will do for the land we are so fortunate to live in. Do something. There is at least one thing, one action, one moment that you can choose everyday to make a difference, no matter how small. It is important, to our future and our children and ourselves, to preserve this place and everything in it. DO SOMETHING.

About Me

Ames, IA USA

Some things you ought to know to have a fair judgement of me: I love Jane Goodall. I listen to Miley Cyrus, Bob Marley, and everything in between. Well, not everything. I went to the first-ever Powershift. I'm fairly excited about the nudity laws in Eugene, OR. I am an Anthropology student at ISU. I am striving to obtain my Masters of Public Health. I believe dolphins are smarter than people. I am in love with a football-playing, hunting, lumberjack. I have a job where I get punched in the face by angry kids on a daily basis, but I love them all. I wrote a hate letter to my younger brother's hero, Pete Townshend, scolding him for not responding to my brother's fan-mail. I have a deep admiration for south-american history, circa AD 900. I have two dogs, Maya and Faye I believe we should have a designated forest exclusively for literary publications... bringing me to my last point... Life would not be worth living if not for good books and good people.
