Blog comment Rapid Response team.
This sparked my interest, the majority of the scientific community believes that Global Warming is an urgent issue that will be best addressed with the use of clean renewable energy and by avoiding distractions like clean coal technology and nuclear energy. Why is it that 95% percent of the comments on this page go against what science states. These people are in cahoots with the coal industry, nuclear industry, and any other corporate interest that stands to lose out financially with progress in use of renewable resources. I was speaking to a Greenpeace Global Warming Field Organizing out of Austin, TX named Yoni Levin and he suggested that we need a blog comment rapid response team to take on these corporate zombies and make sure the general public is not distracted by skewed fake science bombarding these blogs. We need to take on these peoples fake facts and expose them for what they are in the world of online news. So if you are interested drop me a response and join the Green blog rapid response team. We will be smothering blogs about environmental issue with thruthful facts and positive solutions to shut up the drones of misinformation. Also, if you need the Green blog rapid response team to take on some corporate drones cluttering up your blog drop me a response. I will be linking a Twitter account to this blog tomorrow to make it easier to rapidly respond. I just started the twitter account and will be sending at tweets as much as possible. Check it out at GreenDefense1 on Twitter.com
Greenpeace. Get a job and make a difference!
Out of the progressive refuge and into the wild.
Hello,
Greenpeace Texas running stronger than ever. We have been working out of Austin now for 2 months and are really making waves! We have nearly surpassed 1000 new Greenpeace members and are stepping out of the progressive stronghold of Austin, Texas and traveling to Sna Antonio to give some folks an opportunity to get invovled and make a difference. As the Texas Greenpeace frontline coordinator it has always been my goal to not just work in Austin, but to expand and give folks in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and any other city that will have us a chance to kick global warming in the face(in a non violent way), save our ancient forest, and protect our oceans.
We have a wonderful crew of about 20 activists hitting the streets daily and are really making a big difference. So look out Texas here we come! If you live in any of these areas and want to meet up as we are tearing through the state, please reply to this blog and we can figure something out.
Don't mess with Greenpeace Texas!
Cowboys for the environment!

Blogging from the Frontline.
My name is Nathan Stellhorn and I am the Senior City Coordinator running the Greenpeace Frontline office located in Austin, Texas. I have wanted to contribute to the Greenpeace blogging community for some time now, but working in Frontline offices have not had much time to do so. I am very limited on time now, but wanted to briefly give Greenpeace members and visitors to the homepage a quick incite into the life of a Frontline organizer working with Greenpeace.
First off I wanted to thank all of the great people living in the Austin area and around the country who have gotten involved with a Greenpeace Frontliner recently. Involvment within the community is the only way Greenpeace as an organization can possibly get any results. We have only had a presence in Austin for about 5 weeks and have really felt welcomed by the activist community here.
We hit the streets daily in 15 cities across the country. We speak with everyone who may pass by whether they are excited about the issues we are working on or they are completely against our solutions. We are out in 100 degree plus temperatures here in Austin or freezing sub zero temperature in Chicago winters. All of this to make an impact on issues we care about. Come say hello to a Frontliner we love to talk to people.
The issues that we are working towards solution with are so important! Protecting our oceans, stopping global warming, halting the destruction of what is left of our ancient forests. Immediate action is necessary and to be a part of a team of people hitting the streets daily to give the public an opportunity to get involved is amazing. Thank you to everyone involved! Maybe if I have time in the future i will blog up some funny stories about activism deep in the heart of Texas.
