We all of course know the problems global warming is causing throughout the world... and especially our beloved animals the polar bears.  I AM NOT in anyway a non believer in global warming and i believe we should do anything to prevent or reverse it... but it is not the main issue of the mass deaths of polar bears.  In a recent book i read entitled "Cool Off" it talks about how if we stopped global warming the we would only be able to save an estimation of 14 polar bears a year, while if we stopped the shootings of polar bears we would save an estimation of 49 polar bears a year!  In some places where polar bears are found drowned in the water are areas where the temperature is actually decreasing.  I was very shocked by this.  I am not completely finished with the book, but i suggest reading it.  I'd love to hear anyones input on this subject, i dont care the opinion, but i'd love to learn more about this!  Thanks!
