Solar energy is something know but don't think about.The way this works is you make solar energy into electricity.And this how it works;You take solar panels and cover your roof of your house.Make shore that you put 05% tint on the back side.(This reflexs UV raze back into the panel).This makes around 1k to 1 volt.It is carried to a inverter that turns it into 6volts:1amp then to 12volts:5amps then to 24volts:15 amps.And from there it goes to another inverter to 110 volts:25amps to 220 volts:40amps to 540 volts:60amps.You can also put a alternator 60 amp. to the generator with a pully to keep a straight 12 volt power suppy to the system.Then it goes to a generator that makes 10,000amps;at 540 volts or more.And this is basicly solar energy.And when electricity goes low on cloudy day you are still hook up the power company for  electricity you need.To save energy you tint your home windows at 05% tint and this keeps your home heated in winter and cooler in summer.And saves energy.I hope this helps and protect life.i've work on this for a few years now.
