Reasonable responses?

rational I am sometimes confronted by those asking "what are some of the POSITIVE aspects of global warming?" We spend so much effort on negative aspects I think we loose some credibility if we can't present a balanced response... So I'm asking: What are some of the positive aspects of global warming?

Sure there are positive effects, higher food crop yields for instance, but there are also negatives, Rising sea levels causing oceans to swallow world coastlines. A lot of people live on the coastlines. These people are going to have to migrate inland.

As is the case with most things, we need to find the balance. To mitigate the potential negatives, we need to do whatever we can to slow down global warming. To give us ample time to come up with alternatives to the industries and lifestyles that have contributed to accelerating the global warming trend.

In addition to adjusting the industries, wouldn't it make sense to also plan for adapting to the new geography? If there's even a small chance for negative effects shouldn't we be preparing for them?
