A Proud Day

Yesterday was a proud day for Greenpeace globally but especially for those of us here in the US.  I heald my breath as my friends and colleagues struggled with the banner on Mt. Rushmore until finally, with bravery and skill, they deployed it perfectly.  Meanwhile other Greenpeace teams in Italy, US activists among them, occupied multiple coal fired power plants.  This just shows what a truly international organization can do.  But none of it would have been possible without the courage and dedication of who are not only willing to put themselves on the line for our planet but hope to be chosen to do so.  To them, all one can say is: Well done!
