Welcome IUP students and volunteers
Hi there, if anyone out there is from IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) then you would be glad to know that greenpeace will now have a place at our campus! As the campus coordinator I will help any and all volunteers that want to make a difference to do just that for the following 2009-2010 school year. Our campaign will be focused on global warming. Well, I"m a novice tracker and kinda new to nature activism on this scale. I send email for defenders of wildlife every once in a while, but rarely to I get a chance to do real environmental work. I'm a student of biology education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I'm hoping to start a nature awareness and appreciation club as an after school activity for my students. I've always loved the outdoors and it saddens me that a lot of that is going away due to both lack of compassion and awareness.
