Stop Global Warming

| More
treehugger3 There's a great website called www.stopglobalwarming.org that you should sign up for and encourage others to join, too. I've already signed, up--it's quick and easy and gives you tips on how to reduce pollution by taking action! Other members include Al Gore (obviously), Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Leonardo DiCaprio. If these people take the time to sign up for stopglobalwarming.org, I would think maybe you should too!

About Me

Being just a teenager, you're probably thinking "Psh, is this girl seriously being a real activist, or is she just doing this to make her seem more appealing to college admissions deans?". To tell you the truth, I've been inspired to be an environmentalist back when I was in middle school after reading The Princess Diaries. I know, I know, you're probably thinking "Princess Diaries??? How could you be inspired by reading that silly girl book?". Well, Mia Thermopolis, the main character of the story, is actually a vegetarian who wants to work for Greenpeace when she grows up. After finding out what Greenpeace was, I immediately signed up for their e-mail subscriptions. After a while, I thought, "Just getting e-mails from Greenpeace isn't enough". I needed to take action. So I started sending those e-mails to major corporations corrupting the environment and started posting environmental awareness posts to the 50 billion other blogs I have (including my Greenpeace one). Unfortunately, my friends have been less than inspired, if not annoyed, by my recent blog entries. So I hope whoever's reading this bio isn't getting bored too and actually doing something to make a difference in this world. My biggest dream is that one day I'll become famous for my philanthropic efforts in saving the environment. I sure hope that happens soon...while I'm still young.
