Roll Against Coal - A Bike Rally to Shut Down Salem Harbor Coal Plant

Greenpeace, Bikes Not Bombs, and Students for a Just and Stable Future will show our support for the community of Salem and their fight to shut down Salem Harbor coal plant. We will join with Salem Alliance for the Environment, Healthlink, and other local citizens in a rally in Salem.

The rally will be held at the First Church in Salem, Unitarian. (316 Essex St)

The bike ride is 18 miles. We will leave from Davis Square (the park behind the Davis Square T-stop). We will meet at 9:30 am and start rolling promptly at 10:00am.

The rally in Salem will start at 1:30 pm.

Come join us in this exciting and inspiring event to help shut down Salem Harbor coal plant and move toward a coal-free New England.

Bring your own bike and helmet (helmets are required).
